The Panini Linguistics Olympiad (https://ltrc.iiit.ac.in/nlpmt/plo/) and the camp concluded on 15 May. Two teams will represent India in the International Linguistics Olympiad (https://www.ioling.org) to be held in South Korea in July-Aug 2019.

You can see most members of the two teams to represent India in the pictures. Monojit Choudhury of MSR who  a prime mover of PLO and Prof. Radhika Mamidi coordinated it this year, along with lots of students and faculty from IIIT Hyderabad.

Prof. P J Narayanan awarded the Gold medal to Angikar, who is destined for big things. He won a Gold medal for India in the the ILO 2018 and will surely bring back more this year!
