College Rivals Event

The College Rivals event was conducted on 28 – 30 October in which a truck with a complete gaming setup and

sound system and a booth for refreshments was set up near Bakul Nivas. Students arrived in large numbers to play various games available in the gaming truck and to participate in many fun activities such as open mic, balancing the coin, pushup challenge and many more. The winners were awarded College Rivals merchandise such as t-shirts and mouse pads. Students also enjoyed RedBull cans that were given away as refreshments.

On the second day of the event, iFlicks, a prominent esports player and YouTuber visited the college and shared his experiences as an esports player. He also informed the students about the numerous opportunities in the budding field of esports. A DJ was also set up in the evening and it was heartening to see the students groove to music.

Pokemon Showdown Event

The Pokemon Showdown event was conducted by TGC on 24th September on TGC’s official discord channel. The tournament involved players battling each other head on using their team of 6 pokemons in a knockout tournament.  The tournament was an epic display of wits and mastery of Pokemon knowledge, especially the final stage. The top three winners were awarded Pokemon merchandise.
