Astitva Srivastava in first year and Chennupati Sai Deep in third year of their  Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) were awarded TCS Research Scholarships. Students selected for the scholarship will be given a stipend for a maximum of four years, or submission of a thesis whichever is earlier. A stipend of Rs. 70,000 per month for the first and second year and Rs. 75,000 per month for the third year and fourth year will be given to the Ph.D scholars.

Other incentives of this Research Scholarship are – Assignment of TCS mentor from TCS research and innovation team (R&I) and support of Rs. 2,00,000 per annum for contingency/national conference for scholar/international conference for scholar/one time international conference for the guide/outbound sabbatical to foreign university to eligible scholar for up to six months.
