The annual Students Academic & Research Awards Function was held on 13 October at Himalaya 105 to recognize and honor meritorious students for having excelled in studies with a high Student Grade Point Average (SGPA) and for doing excellent research by publishing a good quality paper while being an undergraduate student in the academic year 2021 – 2022. The function was followed by a dinner hosted by the director at the institute guest house lawns. 

Dean’s List and Research List awards for the academic year 2021 – 2022 

Total students for Dean’s list – 505 (graduated – 95)

Total students for Research list – 43 (graduated – 14) 

Academic Awards – Dean’s List & Merit List: The Institute recognizes academic excellence in students whose SGPA is above 8.5 in a semester and are also in the top 20% of their class. This recognition is in the form of a Dean’s list.  

Dean’s List I – For the top 5% of students

Dean’s List II – For the next 5% of students

Dean’s List III – For the next 5% of students

Merit List – For the next 5% of students

Research List: The Institute also encourages and appreciates research contributed by students (non-research programmes) culminating in publications in recognized forums. This recognition is in the form of a Research list.
