Dr. Taneli Riihonen, Assistant Professor, Tampere University of Technology (TUT), Finland gave a talk on Inband Full-Duplex Wireless Communications and other selected topics on 30 July. His  research areas are physical-layer OFDM(A), multiantenna, relaying and full-duplex wireless techniques with current interest in the evolution of beyond 5G systems. Dr. Riihonen. He has been nominated eleven times as an Exemplary/Top Reviewer of  various IEEE journals and is serving as an Editor for IEEE Communications Letters since October 2014 and for IEEE Wireless Communications Letters since May 2017.

In the first part of his talk he highlighted recent contributions on the inband full-duplex (IBFD) technology by providing an overview of the related research carried out at Tampere University of Technology, Finland, thus far. And in the second part of my his talk he gave an overview of some research areas on wireless communications, which his group is  currently finding interesting.
