ICON-2022 tutorial session on Discourse Structure Analysis of Indian Languages (DSAIL-2022) will be held at IIIT Delhi on 18 December 2022.
What will we do in the DSAIL2022 tutorial?
- Focus on the analysis of discourse structure of different Indian languages.
- Introduce the basic concepts of discourse structure
- Discourse segments, discourse relations, discourse signals
- Explain how these concepts are dealt with in RST and PDTB.
- Provide hands-on experience of the application of these theories on Indian text data.
- Discuss the prospects of discourse research and resource development for Indian languages.
