Dr. Diganta Das’s Start-up Research Grant (SRG) proposal on Phenomenology of hadronic decays and searches for physics beyond the Standard Model was approved by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), a statutory body under DST. The two-year grant is given to new faculty in research against a research proposal.

The Start-up Research Grant (SRG) scheme assists researchers to initiate their research career in a new institution. It is meant to enable researchers working in frontier areas of science and engineering to establish themselves and move on to the mainstream core research grant (CRG). Criteria for selection is based on the track record of the applicant and the proposed research plan.
