IIITH alumni Sanjana Sharma currently working in GoldmanSachs and Prof.Radhika Mamidi participated in a webinar organised by CARE India on Decoding Computational Thinking as per NEP 2020 in a hybrid modality. The event was conducted virtually as well as face 2 face at Lucknow on 26 March. National Education Policy 2020 policy identifies Computational Thinking (CT) as one of the requisite skills for becoming innovative, adaptable, and productive member of the society.
They shared their views on Language development among children and its alignment with development of logical thinking and coding skill. While, Sanjana Sharma emphasised on the need to incorporate college students as a back loop in the teaching eco-system between schools and colleges and Prof. Radhika Mamidi focused on the role Language and Linguistics play in decoding Computational Thinking in students.
