Software Engineering Research Center (SERC) organized Bugathon, a Virtual Labs 2018 Internship Programme from 6 – 8 June. It gave students a better understanding of open source technologies, software development lifecycle while working with technology experts and simultaneously contributing to the elimination of bugs and thereby improve the quality of labs. About 150 students from local engineering colleges and Β IIIT-H participated in the programme. First prize was won by Sai Teja, Vasavi College; second prize was won by Sarika, Vasavi college and third was shared by Amaresham Rajaduttu, Sreenidhi college and Rashmi, NIT Surat. Top testers of the day were Vikram, Β MSIT, IIIT-H; P V K Deepak, MSIT, IIIT-H and Prem Naik, MSIT, IIIT-H.
