Sarvesh Thakur pursuing Ph.D in CSE under the supervision of Prof. Madhava Krishna had been awarded the prestigious Kohli Research Fellowship Program, a competitive Fellowship program for pursuing Ph.D at the Kohli Center on Intelligent Systems (KCIS) at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIITH).
Kohli Research Fellowship Program is a highly competitive and coveted fellowship program offered at KCIS. This Ph.D fellowship is awarded to selected candidates who show remarkable and extraordinary research aptitude, scholarly abilities and capacity to think through unstructured problems. A selected number of fellowships are awarded through a comprehensive selection process consisting of multiple levels of screening.
A monthly fellowship stipend of ₹ 50,000/- is given to the fellows up to 4 years or submission of thesis whichever is earlier. In addition to the monthly stipend, the center also provides financial support to participate at top conference forums and take care of all tuition related support.
