IIITH students bagged several prizes at Elan and nVision techno-cultural fest of IIT Hyderabad.
Fix the bug contest was a 4 hour event held offline, where participants were presented with 9 questions. Each question had multiple bugs to be fixed, and the questions were based on a diverse set of languages and frameworks like – Python, HTML + CSS + VanillaJS, React, FastAPI, Flutter, MERN, Golang, Rust and Docker.
Winners were:
1st prize – Rinish Sam I, MTech 2k23 (CSE); Varun Edachali, UG 2k22 (CSE);
Maddireddy Kritin, UG 2k22 (CSE)
2nd prize – Udith Krishna M Nair, UG 2k23 (CSD); Adithya Kishor, UG 2k23 (CSD); Shubham Goel, UG 2k23 (CSE)
3rd prize – Anirudh Sankar, UG 2k23 (CSD); Aditya Shankar, UG 2k23 (CSD)
Top 2 prizes at Verilog Hackathon
Yash Bhutada and Arya Topale from Electronics and Robotics club (ERC) won 1st prize. Soham Vaishnav and Rupak Antani secured the runner-up spot.
The successes were a result of the exceptional ingenuity and innovative circuit design skills exhibited by IIITH teams. Their strategic approach and technical acumen were instrumental in outshining competitors and claiming the top 2 spots on the podium.
In addition to the Verilog Hackathon, ERC also participated in other competitions during the fest, including Robo Soccer and Maze Solver. These events provided valuable experience for the participants, further highlighting the club’s dedication to exploring new areas.
