60 Seconds of Wit: Jam!

60 Seconds of Wit: JAM! was an exhilarating event that took place on 7 October at SH-1. Modeled after the popular

game Just a Minute, this event brought together participants and spectators alike for an evening of spontaneous laughter, clever banter, and quick thinking. The event promised a mix of humour and quick wit, much like the perfect fruit jam, and it certainly delivered on that promise.

The event/game rules were as follows: A participant had to speak on a given topic related to literature for as long as possible without committing the following infractions:

  •     Repetition: Repeating a point or a line.
  •     Hesitation: Taking a significantly long pause or using sounds as fillers.
  •     Deviation: Straying from the given topic to fill time.

If a participant committed any of these errors, other participants could call them out and take over the speaking role. The last person speaking at the end of a round was declared the winner.

The event showcased the incredible creativity and humour of the participants, while also keeping the audience engaged and captive.
